Tommy Saul, Rhodes Seeger and Chris Senn of Southeastern Development based in Augusta, Georgia represented Riverwalk Investors, LLC in the July 2016 sale of the 178,000 square foot Office Tower with the adjoining Parking Deck at 101 E. Blount Avenue in Knoxville, TN that is to become the new Corporate World Headquarters of Regal Entertainment Group (Regal Cinemas). The Office Tower, which is part of an overall development known as One Riverwalk, was sold to the Industrial Development Board (IDB) of the City of Knoxville. Regal plans to occupy the entire building bringing more than 400 employees to the Downtown Knoxville Market.
One Riverwalk will consist of a Multifamily component, a Student Housing component, two Professional Buildings, a Retail/Restaurant component, a Hotel and Regal’s new World Headquarters. The Multifamily component, which will include 300 market rate apartments, is currently under construction with the first units scheduled for delivery in 2017. The Student Housing component is on a similar schedule. A Riverwalk and Public Event Plaza overlooking the Tennessee River and Downtown Knoxville will be part of the overall development.
