Southeastern Development Associates is developing a 278-unit Class A garden-style apartment community located on 17.7 acres in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The community amenities will include an over-sized saline pool with a sun shelf, outdoor fireplace and grills, 24/7 athletic club, yoga studio, pet spa, cyber-café, and a dog park. The project will also have direct access to the Tennessee River and will include a walking trail with connection directly to downtown via the Tennessee RiverPark. 472 parking spaces will be dedicated to the five buildings as well as 56 garages. Unit finishes will include quartz countertops, wood inspired flooring, stainless steel appliances, crown molding throughout, separate walk-in tiled showers, garden tubs, built-in USB ports, oversized closets, ceiling fans, and spacious porches. The community is set to be completed in Fall 2019.
The proposed community is located next to Erlanger Hospital, the 7th largest public hospital in the United States, and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, which enrolls 11,000 students. The community will overlook the Tennessee River and will serve as an extension of the city’s walking path along the river from Downtown. A traffic light will be added off Riverside Drive, providing easy access directly to the site. The community will be only the garden-style apartment community with in 0.5 miles of downtown.
