Matt Mills

As Executive Vice President and a senior member of the development team at Southeastern, Mr. Mills is responsible for the execution and oversight of a wide range of commercial and residential development projects across the eastern United States. His areas of responsibility include budgeting, financing, construction, leasing, and sales management. Mr. Mills earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1997.
Prior to joining Southeastern in 2000, Mr. Mills served as an underwriter in the Commercial Real Estate Division of First Union National Bank.
In his capacity as the qualifying broker for Southeastern, Mr. Mills ensures that the firm and its affiliated licensees maintain full compliance with applicable laws and regulatory provisions in all states in which the company operates. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Greater Augusta Board of Realtors.
Mr. Mills has served on numerous boards, including Goodwill of Middle Georgia, Augusta Country Club, the YMCA, and the Augusta Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He is also a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd. Mr. Mills and his wife reside in Augusta, Georgia, with their two children.
