Our Richland Mall redevelopment is in the city of Forest Acres, just north of downtown Columbia and the University of South Carolina. With the strongest demographics in the region, Forest Acres is the highest end area in Columbia. This mall has been looked at for redevelopment for years, and we were able to complete a public-private partnership last year with the city and county to make this project a reality. Upon completion, this site will include 380 Class A multifamily units, alongside 160,000 square feet of retail space including a new grocery store. Additionally, the site will have a 5-acre City Park in the rear featuring an amphitheater for events.
